I wish I had said no. I should have said no. And funny enough, you were right. I could have said no. So why didn't I? I guess I was flattered that a giant could fall in love with an ant like me. Perhaps I should have read the signs. Perhaps I should have known better. I guess the saying is true: When life teaches you a lesson and you fail to learn, it repeats itself. For now, all I can say is lesson learnt. But why does my heart ache this much?
