Open the door, step outside into a world of relentless rush and buzz. Things to do! Places to be! No time to think, to ponder, to browse. “The Daily Grind” is a welcome pause. The soft sigh of the door echoes my own relief. An air lock that divides this haven from hell. A happy sojourn, no matter how brief. It’s a pit-stop – a boxer’s bell, a soothing massage and fan of the towel, before we hit the street.
