Early Nature Poetry

Nature poetry has roots in ancient traditions worldwide. Chinese poets like Li Bai (701-762 CE) wrote about mountains and rivers with philosophical depth. Japanese haiku emerged as a form deeply connected to seasonal changes. In the West, Virgil's "Georgics" celebrated agricultural life and the Roman countryside.
