Moonlit Whispers
by Poetic Rizz
Original poem "Half Sickle Moon" by Steven Groulx
Poetry Now Version
In a garden where the moon is a silver slice,
And fireflies light up the trees,
A warm June breeze plays with your hair,
And in this moment, you’re all I see.
I may struggle to find the words,
To capture your beauty in my mind,
But as I hold you close,
I let my heart speak its truth.
— Poetic Rizz
Original Poem
We're standing in the garden
Under the half sickle moon
The trees filled with fireflies
On a warm night in June
As a summer breeze blows
And plays with your hair
There's nothing more beautiful
Than you standing there
But I cannot say
What has come to my mind
The words to describe it
Are too hard to find
So I say what I know,
It's the best I can do
I hold you close in my arms
And say, "I love you"
