1. Introduction / Agreement

Welcome to Poetry Now. By accessing or using our website and services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform. "Poetry Now" refers to our site and business.

2. User Accounts

You can create an account and log in to Poetry Now using your email address or through Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. User-Generated Content (Poems)

You retain ownership of the poems and other content you submit to Poetry Now ("User Content"). However, by submitting User Content, you grant Poetry Now a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display such User Content in connection with operating, marketing, promoting, and improving the Platform. This includes showing your poems elsewhere on the site or in public communications by Poetry Now.

4. Content Guidelines

You agree not to post User Content that is illegal, offensive, defamatory, infringing on intellectual property rights, plagiarized, or otherwise violates our community standards. Poetry Now reserves the right, but not the obligation, to review and remove any User Content that violates these Terms or our policies, without prior notice.

5. Intellectual Property

The Platform's design, branding, text, graphics, logos, and other content, excluding User Content, are the exclusive property of Poetry Now and its licensors, protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, modification, or distribution of the Platform's code, branding, or design is strictly prohibited.

6. Termination

Poetry Now may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will cease. If your account is terminated, Poetry Now may still retain and use your User Content as per the license granted in Section 3.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Poetry Now shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Platform; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Platform; (c) any content obtained from the Platform; or (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content. This includes, but is not limited to, damages from outages, data loss, or issues with third-party services.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal data. By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We also recommend reviewing our Cookies Policy.

9. Modifications to Terms

Poetry Now reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
