Decorative rose for Forever Yours

Forever Yours

by Poetic Rizz

Original poem "I Love You" by Sebastian K. Gretham Jackson

Love

Poetry Now Version

In the chill of unyielding sheets,

Your love's warmth defies the cold.

The beauty you cherish most,

Is your heart's desire bold.

No reason or intent to find,

What happened is beyond time;

The friendship that once was,

Has turned into a lover's rhyme.

Never a word spoken in error,

All that’s said comes from the heart.

I’ll never stray from your side,

Together we shall not part.

We were made to be one,

A reflection of each other's soul.

I spent a life searching for you,

I need you to feel whole.

Our love knows no end,

Trust and devotion will guide our way through every storm and calm sea.

You may never grasp how deeply I admire you in all ways—

But my love for you surpasses all words.

Original Poem

In the folds of icy sheets

Lies the warmth of your love's fire,

The beauty you care most for,

Your heart and heart's desire.

Without reason or intent,

What happened you can't explain;

The friendship you once had

Has become a lover's flame.

Never a wrong word spoken,

What is said is said from the heart.

Never will I leave your side,

Never shall we part.

The two of us were made as one,

We echo each other's soul.

I spent a life in search of you,

I need you to make me whole.

The love we share is endless.

Our trust and our devotion,

Will guide our way for now and ever

Through temper and emotion.

You'll never know quite how much I adore

Every part of you more each day.

A simple fact these lines can't tell

Is I love you more than words can say.
