A Sky That’s Yours, Not Mine

by Poetic Rizz

Original poem "My eyes beheld a sky one night," by Graham Stuart

Love

Poetry Now Version

I stumbled upon a sky,

that felt like home.

A canvas of blue and gold,

where the stars found their glow.

As I pondered its beauty,

I realized the truth:

it was your light that made it shine.

— Poetic Rizz

Original Poem

It seems so long ago,

A perfectly painted portrait,

Be-speckled with blue and gold.

As I sit and ponder more,

It strikes me that you were there,

And it was truly your simple beauty,

That gave the stars their perfect glare.
