"Part of Nature"

The days I looked for rain became dry So I never had the chance to water my roots Is there another solution to keeping my foundation strong without the essentials to keep growing? I'm afraid of not being able to remain stable as the wind directs me in its own way and one shot at life is all we get Who can I reach out to if my branches are short in length and every leaf that falls off becomes somebody else's problem Is there anybody to blame? Or was I a seed tossed into nature in the wrong season

Brick By Brick

We begin to build from our hearts. Brick by brick we build it now, We let ivy up its walls. And hydrangeas bloom down its paths . We grow sunflower beds backyard. And jasmine blossoms from the sinks. We paint it with laughter, We furnish it in love. We live in it from joy, We maintain it with lust. We clean it with affection, We dust it with bonds. In love in loss and everything between, We weather the storms and we welcome the sunshine on our lawns. Brick by brick, Deep within our hearts We own something. Not of luck nor blood, Not from fate nor hell. To be seen only, In the way our hands find - In the way our eyes meet - In the way our hearts melt - In the way our souls weave, That this is us. That this is home. - M.A

Ugly (part 1)

There is no such thing as ugly People perceive beauty same as they perceive color They see what they lack, they see what they please, they see what helps them feel good or bad? ugly or pretty? gold or silver? doesn't matter its on them and what they seem to value The colorblind sees no color, the blind sees no beauty Some are blind to what they could see, In people with no malice nor evil, only good intentions Truly forgetting how their reflection Stares at them, sometimes vain, sometimes shrinking They use critical eyes to analyze innocent souls Ugliness is a word that is just a weapon Sometimes used to break the boundaries laid
