The Mirage of Love
In the realm of dreams, I wandered lost, Where shadows danced on memories embossed, An echo of warmth, so vividly bright, Yet all was illusion, a trick of the light. I reached for a heart that shimmered and swayed, But grasped only air where affection had played. Like roads aglow with the shimmer of sun, Each step brought confusion—what’s real? What’s done? Physics taught me well—mirages deceive, Their brightness an answer we long to believe. Upside-down sparkles float just out of sight, Truth hung in the balance between night and light. I dared to approach where the water seemed deep;
