A Knight's End

When love grew wild beyond control, it claimed my heart, consumed my soul. One word from her and my fate was sealed, no sword, no war, just wounds left unhealed. I hung my breath on her command, a dying rose in trembling hand. Not death by blade, but love’s decree the day she died, she broke the knight inside of me. And when the magic fades above, We learn: "it's God who ends our love."
